The short answer

Open Settings > Sources, tap Connect on each source you want to use, complete the OAuth handshake. Free and Pro can connect 2 to 4 sources. Studio and Agency can connect all four.

Step by step

  1. From Settings, tap Sources.
  2. Tap Connect next to Camera Roll (iOS or Android native access).
  3. Tap Connect next to iCloud (signs in via Apple ID OAuth).
  4. Tap Connect next to Google Drive (Google OAuth).
  5. Tap Connect next to Dropbox (Dropbox OAuth).
  6. Each connection shows a count (e.g., "iCloud ยท 1,403 clips").

ENCORE caches clip metadata, not the clips themselves. The clips stay on your source. When a render needs a clip, ENCORE streams it.

What can go wrong

  • Google Drive returns "access denied": your corporate Google account may restrict third-party apps. Ask your admin or use a personal Google account.
  • iCloud not showing recent clips: iCloud Photos sync can take 5 to 15 minutes for new uploads to be visible to third-party apps. Wait and refresh.
  • Source shows "expired": OAuth tokens expire after 30 to 90 days. Tap Reconnect.
