The short answer
Your twin is yours. We never sell or share your twin data. Every twin render carries an AI-disclosure watermark per platform compliance. We block twins for political, medical, or financial misinformation use.
The four lines we will not cross
Line 1 — Consent is verified. Twins can only be created from a live recording by the account owner. We reject pre-recorded uploads. Voice-face match verification runs at enrollment.
Line 2 — Your twin is yours. Training data is encrypted at rest. Not shared. Not used to train any general-purpose model. You can request full deletion within 7 days of cancellation.
Line 3 — Platform compliance is enforced. Every Twin Mode render carries an AI-disclosure watermark and metadata flag. We enforce on all platforms, including ones that do not yet require it (LinkedIn, Pinterest as of June 2026).
Line 4 — No misinformation use. Content classifier blocks twin renders making specific medical, financial, or political (named-candidate, within 60 days of US election) claims. Educational content on these topics is allowed; specific authoritative claims are not.
Your rights
- Access. See what data the system has about your twin: Settings > Twin Mode > Data.
- Export. Download a portability package: recording sources, render history, metadata.
- Deletion. Request hard deletion. We process within 7 days.
- Audit. See every twin render with consent chain: Settings > Twin Mode > Audit Log.
What to do if you suspect twin misuse
If you find a video using your likeness elsewhere that you did not authorize, contact us at trust@encore.app with the URL and the timestamp. We have fast-track takedown channels with the major platforms.
