The short answer
ENCORE auto-generates the right ratio per channel. You do not need to think about this. But if you want to override or understand what gets shipped:
| Channel | Default ratio | Why |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube Shorts | 9:16 | Vertical native |
| YouTube long-form | 16:9 | Horizontal native |
| TikTok | 9:16 | Vertical native |
| Instagram Reels | 9:16 | Vertical native |
| Instagram Feed | 1:1 or 4:5 | Square or portrait |
| Instagram Stories | 9:16 | Full-screen vertical |
| 1:1 or 16:9 | Square performs best, landscape acceptable | |
| 1:1 or 16:9 | Same as LinkedIn | |
| 2:3 or 9:16 | Vertical pin native |
How ENCORE generates them
ENCORE renders one master cut per prompt, typically 16:9 or the source aspect ratio. Channel variants are reframed in parallel using subject-tracking crops that keep the main action in frame.
Manual override
Per render, you can override aspect ratios in the Render Queue. Useful if you want to publish a 9:16 vertical to YouTube long-form (some creators do).
