The short answer
In the prompt screen, tap the gear icon next to your prompt. Pick which signals to override (voice, color, pacing, hook style, caption style) and the override value. The render uses your override instead of the learned signal. Studio tier and above.
When to override
- Experimenting with a new format. Your Brand Brain learned your current style. Override pacing to try faster cuts.
- Brand refresh. You changed brand colors. Override color until the Brand Brain catches up (typically 5 to 10 renders).
- Channel-specific deviation. Your TikTok needs higher energy than your LinkedIn. Override pacing per channel render.
- Seasonal campaign. Holiday content might need a different palette than your year-round content.
How overrides work
The override is a hard instruction to the renderer. It does NOT permanently change your Brand Brain. The next render without overrides reverts to the learned signal.
How to retrain instead of override
If you find yourself overriding the same signal every render, your Brand Brain may need retraining. Settings > Brand Brain > Retrain. Upload 5 to 10 new videos that represent the direction you want. The system reweights the signal toward the new samples.

Override is a Studio+ feature. Free and Pro see the dashboard read-only.
