The short answer
Settings > Billing > Change Tier. Pick new tier. Confirm. Upgrades are instant. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
Upgrade
- Instant. Features unlock immediately.
- Prorated: you pay only the difference between tiers for the rest of the period.
- Twin Mode minutes reset to the new tier's quota.
Downgrade
- Scheduled for the end of your current billing period.
- You keep current-tier features until that point.
- At cycle end, the system enforces the new tier's limits.
- If you have data that exceeds the new tier's limits (e.g., 4 brand workspaces, downgrading to Studio which has 1), the system asks which to archive.
Trial behavior
If you are on the Studio 14-day trial:
- Upgrading to Agency: trial ends, billing starts immediately at Agency rate.
- Downgrading to Pro/Free: trial continues until day 14, then you move to the picked tier.
Annual vs monthly
Annual saves 17% (10 months for 12). Switch from monthly to annual: Settings > Billing > Switch to Annual. Refund of unused monthly is prorated as a credit on the annual.
